This transformation converted a former medical clinic, shuttered stores, and a closed-down restaurant into a vibrant mixed-use space that now offers parking, housing, shopping, dining, and entertainment. Spanning one acre, the project showcased Bostic Trucking and Excavating’s broad skill set, from asbestos abatement and the demolition of half a city block, to the installation of a new storm drain system and meticulous site preparation. Despite the challenges posed by heavy traffic and close proximity to neighboring structures, our strategic planning and execution ensured the project’s success.
Foundry Yards
The Foundry Yards Apartments project marked a pivotal moment in the ongoing transformation of Birmingham’s industrial district into a vibrant mixed-use community. Despite challenges posed by close proximity to residential, business, and religious centers, as well as high pedestrian and vehicle traffic, our meticulous planning ensured smooth operations with minimal disruption.
