Groundbreaking Solutions For A Solid Future
Banger Warehouse
Project Overview
The Banger Warehouse project is a showcase of Bostic Trucking and Excavating's broad expertise in site development. Spanning a 7-acre site, this project required a range of specialized tasks to transform a challenging area into a fully prepared location for a new warehouse and associated facilities.
Scope of Work:
Clearing and Grinding:
We began by clearing the site of existing vegetation and trees, followed by grinding the materials. This initial phase set the foundation for all subsequent activities and ensured efficient use of resources by exporting & reusing the ground materials.Topsoil Stripping and Stockpiling:
After clearing, we stripped and stockpiled the topsoil. This step was crucial for preserving quality soil for later use in landscaping and site finishing.Erosion Control:
To protect the site and nearby areas, we installed and maintained erosion control measures throughout the project. This helped prevent soil erosion and safeguarded the environment during construction.Site Preparation:
We prepared the building pad, loading docks, and parking lots with precision grading using on-site materials, moving over 27,000 Cubic Yards of material. Due to the poor quality of the existing soil, we capped all structural areas with a minimum of 18 inches of imported engineered fill material, over 14,000 Cubic Yards, creating a strong and reliable foundation for the warehouse.Stormwater Management:
The project included expanding the existing retention pond and replacing old storm drain structures with a new storm sewer system. These improvements were vital for effective stormwater management and preventing potential flooding issues.Additional Site Work:
We also addressed the removal of unsuitable soils, reshaping of excess dirt, and replacement of topsoil. The final steps included hydroseeding to promote vegetation growth and stabilize the soil, completing a smooth and successful project delivery.
By combining thorough planning and skilled execution, BTE successfully prepared the site for future development.
